
Return policy
The Return Request and Warranty Policy applies to Eco-LED®, Aspirasia®, and Speclite® products. Speclite Technologies is committed to delivering a product in good, working condition. If you receive a damaged or defective product, Speclite Technologies will decide whether to repair or replace the product.
Please note that Speclite cannot be held responsible for damage occurring during transport if the carrier is employed or under contract with the customer. If necessary, your carrier should be contacted if any damage resulting from transport is discovered.

STEP 1: Determine if your product is still under warranty
– Lighting: 5-year warranty
– T8 tubes: 3-year warranty
– Accessories: 3-year warranty
– Emergency lighting: 3-year warranty
NB: Applicable warranties begin upon delivery of the said products. These must not have been installed contrary to the manufacturer's standards, misused, or used in conditions that exceed its thermal, electrical, and/or mechanical capabilities. When the warranty is still in effect and the product's conditions for a reasonable return are met, you must proceed as follows.
STEP 2: Complete the warranty form
Complete the warranty form. Once your warranty and return request is duly completed and submitted, our customer service department will notify you of our decision. Possible decisions include:
- The product is easily repairable with one or more components that we will send to you at our expense (in this decision, the product does not need to be sent to us);
- The product is not repairable and we will send you a replacement product;
- A credit will be issued for the current value of the product.
An RMA number will be issued to you with instructions to complete the return of the defective product and/or replacement. Only the customer service department can make a decision on your warranty claim and issue an RMA number; no salesperson or other staff will be authorized to issue you an RMA number or make a decision regarding warranty and returns.
Non-Defective Product Return Policy
The Return Request and Warranty Policy applies to Eco-LED®, Aspirasia®, and Speclite® products. You must complete the return form within 30 days of invoicing.
For any return exceeding 30 days from the purchase date and up to a maximum of 90 days from the invoice date, a restocking fee of 25% of the product price excluding taxes, as indicated on the purchase invoice, will apply. No returns are accepted after 90 days. This policy only applies if the product has not been used and has not been installed, the product must be in its original and undamaged packaging. No returns of clearance or final sale products will be accepted for a return. Upon receipt of your completed form, we will issue you an RMA number which you must affix to your return boxes and send to:

Any return of non-defective merchandise is at the customer's expense. For any merchandise exceeding two pallets, you must make an appointment at retour@speclite.ca or by phone at (418) 614-3742 EXT 110.
All returns must be pre-authorized, with an RMA number issued by the Speclite Technologies Customer Service Department. Any return without pre-authorization and an RMA number will be refused. Only the Customer Service Department can issue you an RMA number; no salesperson or other personnel will be authorized to issue you an RMA number or make any decisions regarding warranty and returns.
