A few words about our beginnings
Speclite was founded in 2010 in Montreal by Leonard, a junior electrical engineer with a clear and forward-thinking vision. From the start, we supported other companies in developing new electronic products, relying on a strong network of suppliers in Asia for manufacturing everything from plastic parts to packaging.
This supply chain expertise gave us a solid foundation for product development and helped position us as a key player in the industry.
The evolution towards LED lighting
In 2014, we saw the potential of LED lighting, helped in part by the incentives offered by Hydro-Québec at the time. With our supply chain experience, it became clear that we could offer products that were far more competitive. That’s when we developed our first LED fixtures.
Today, Speclite is a committed team proud to support contractors here and abroad. Every project is a shared effort, and every light installed is a shared point of pride.
