Return and Warranty Policy
This return and warranty policy applies to all SPECLITE® products.
Return Policy
-Any return request must be submitted within 30 days of the invoice date by completing the return form.
-For any return request made after 30 days and up to a maximum of 180 days from the invoice date, a restocking fee of 25% of the product price before taxes, as indicated on the purchase invoice, will be applied.
-No returns will be accepted more than 180 days after the invoice date.
The following conditions must be met for a return to be accepted:
-The product must not have been used or installed.
-The product must be returned in its original packaging, complete and intact.
-No returns will be accepted for products sold as clearance or final sale.
Return Authorization (RMA)
-All returns must be pre-authorized by Les Technologies SPECLITE Inc. and accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by the customer service department.
-Any return shipped without prior authorization or without an RMA number will be refused.
-Only the customer service department is authorized to issue an RMA number and make decisions regarding returns or warranties. No sales representative or other staff member is authorized to issue an RMA number.
Product Warranty
Products sold as clearance or refurbished are covered by a 12-month warranty from the invoice date.
For regular products, the applicable warranties are as follows:
-Luminaires: 5 years
-Bulbs and tubes: 3 years
-Batteries and battery-powered products: 3 years
-Controls: 3 years
-Emergency lighting: 2 years
-Accessories: 3 years
Credit and Replacement Conditions
When a product qualifies for a warranty claim, the credit may be calculated on a prorated basis according to the actual period of use of the product. For example, if a product with a 5-year warranty stops working after 3 years, a credit equivalent to 40% of the product cost may be granted.
Whenever possible, SPECLITE prioritizes the replacement of internal components, particularly drivers. If drivers are not available or if the defect is not related to the driver, full replacement of the luminaire may be considered.
Guide to product photos
Step 1
Please send us a photo that allows us to identify the luminaire. It is important that this photo allows us to read the product label.
Step 2
In the event that there are several products of the same model, it is important to include an overall photo allowing the number of lights to be returned to be counted.
Step 3
It is possible to combine in the same photo, step 1 and 2. But the photo must clearly show each of the model numbers and the production date for each of the products.
